Brown Stair

The Brown Stair consists of 10 hardwood prisms ranging from 1 x 1 x 20cm to 10 x 10 x 20 cm.  The prisms are graded in width, while the length remains constant.  These cubes develop visual and muscular perception of dimension, & working with these materials will help the child understand mathematical concepts in plane geometry, area & volume.
