The Green Reading Series is the final of the Montessori phonetic reading in the series, following the Blue Reading Material.
It consists of 9 families:
Family 1: ie, igh, y, i-e
Family 2: aw, or, ough
Family 3: ee, ey, y, ie, ea
Family 4: ou, ow
Family 5: ai, ay, a-e
Family 6: oa, oe, ow
Family 7: ew, eu, oo, u-e
Family 8: er, ur, ir
Family 9: oi, oy
Additional sounds:
th, ch, sh, ar
The series consists of sentence cards, word/picture boxes, booklets and word lists. The repetition allows for the child to grasp the concept and learn the different sounds. Approximately 14 working days production time.
