Life Cycle Set – Mantis
R495,00
The life cycle of a praying mantis consists of three main stages – egg, nymph & adult – a process known as incomplete metamorphosis. Females lay eggs in a protective foam case (ootheca) in fall, which hatch in spring into nymphs that resemble wingless, miniature adults. Nymphs molt 6-12 times over several months before reaching maturity.
The set comes with wooden 3 Part Cards, & is presented in a beautiful wooden box with a picture of the corresponding theme printed on the lid.
