Life Cycle Set – Mosquito

The mosquito life cycle consists of four distinct stages – eg, larva, pupil & adult – a process known as complete metamorphosis that can take as little as 7 to 10 days. The first three stages (egg, larva, pupa) are aquatic, requiring still water, while the adult is a flying insect. Female mosquitoes lay eggs in water, which hatch into larvae that breathe at the surface. After developing into pupae, they mature & emerge as flying adults.

The set comes with wooden 3 Part Cards, & is presented in a beautiful wooden box with a picture of the corresponding theme printed on the lid.
